In the heart of Venice, our shop is an ode to the age-old art of glassmaking, a tradition deeply rooted in the island of Murano.

For centuries, glassmaking has been passed down from generation to generation, and Mimosa Venice pays tribute to this heritage. Every glass object in our shop tells a story of skill and passion, a testament to the glassmaking art that has made Murano famous worldwide.
Since 1991, in the heart of Murano, a nineteenth-century industrial building has been home to the Antica Murano Furnace. When you enter the furnace, you step into another dimension; watching the master and his assistants at work is truly fascinating. It seems as if the material is transformed with bare hands, with great simplicity and awareness of what needs to be achieved. With ancient gestures, they shape the material, sand, and fire, from incandescent liquid to object, to create a unique and original piece.
